The Albany Government Law Review is pleased to be co-hosting a symposium on education reform with the Government Law Center on November 10th & 11th, 2010.
Keynote speaker Charles P. Rose, current General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Education, will headline this event. Mr. Rose will speak about federal education reform and public policy on Wednesday, November 10th at 6 p.m. in the Dean Alexander Moot Courtroom at Albany Law School.
On Thursday, November 11th, a roundtable discussion on New York education reform will take place moderated by Scott Waldman, education columnist for the Albany Times Union. Participants include: Kathy Ahearn, Esq., Partner at Guercio & Guercio; Thomas Carroll, Chair of the Foundation for Education Reform and Accountability; Douglas Gerhardt, Member, Harris Beach PLLC; Pauline Kinsella, Executive Director for New York State United Teachers (NYSUT); and Dr. Henry Levin, Ph.D., William H. Kilpatrick Professor of Economics & Education, Columbia University Teacher’s College.
